Let me know if you can relate or not with any of my lessons learned.

Cities worth a Revisit????

I am definitely the type of person that if I love a city enough I will revisit it, no matter how long my "Wishlist" of other cities is. Some of these cities I have traveled to multiple times in the same year and for one of them even twice within the same month.

So what makes these cities so desirable to me and millions of others? First of all they all have some amazing Sites to visit and explore. Times Square, The Eiffel Tower, The Berlin Wall, The Sydney Opera House so on and so forth are world famous sites for a reason. The next thing they all have in common is having some sort of Green Space. I love being outdoors and all of these cities have lots to see and do that involves being outdoors which scores high in my books. Then of course there is the Shopping and Food, I mean this is pretty self explanatory... Lastly is just the overall Atmosphere - sometimes the vibe of a city can just bring you down, but not in these cities. Each of these cities has something magical about them that keeps me coming back for more! What are your Revisit cities?

Animal Encounters in Australia

For anyone who loves animals as much as I do - Australia is like a dream come true. They have so many cute animals from Koalas to Kangaroos, to Wombats and Echidnas and that's just on the land. The best part for me was not just seeing these animals but also getting to interact with them in any form. I also sought out to see lots of Australian animals in the wild - so let me know if you would like a post on that!

Hostel Packing List

Staying in Hostels is one of the best ways to see Europe. You can save so much money staying in a hostel instead of a fancy hotel and you can still get the rest and relaxation in your room that you are looking for.

In order to have a great stay at a hostel there are some essentials you will want to bring. Here is my Hostel Packing List!

10 Things You Need to Know Before Traveling in Europe

1. Bathrooms, Washrooms, Toilets, Water Closets:
Whatever you want to call them, in Europe they are
sparse and usually cost money. Always carry around some small change so if the need arises your not stuck. (It also might benefit you to carry around tissue in case there's no toilet paper)
2. Pick Pocketing and Scamming is Prevalent:
I have watched so many TV shows or Documentaries that show just how easy it is for pick-pocketers to grab your wallet or money. Your job is to make it difficult or impossible. Use waist pouches, zippers, compartments or whatever you need to make sure you keep your things safe.

How to avoid Disappointment while Traveling

There will come a time in every travelers life where they experience disappointment. This can range from a beach not having the crystal clear water you were expecting, the weather sucking the entire trip, staying at a hotel with no hot water, realizing you traveled during a public holiday and everything is closed, a city just not living up to the expectations you built in your head... and many more. These are all situations that happened to me while traveling, and although some may seem like such minor downfalls they can still put a damper on the whole experience. So here is my list of ways for you to avoid the same disappointments.

Favourite places in London.. to wander!

After living in London on and off for 2 years, and developing a strong love for the city, I thought it's about time that I compile a list of some of my favourite spots. It can be intimidating as a guest to this large and busy city, but don't let hustle and bustle get you down. The best way to see London is to fully integrate yourself into its glory. This is my first post on my favourite London spots and it will be focused on my favourite places to wander the day away!
